Combo Smart
scanners are a family of compact, full-page, multi-purpose passport and ID readers that provide automatic, accurate data extraction and document verification. The documents’ printed data is extracted from the entire page, from MRZ, VIZ, 1D and 2D bar codes. Combo Smart also extracts digital data from RFIDs, contact smart chips and from magnetic stripes. The available multiple illumination sources are visible white, IR and UV. The reader renders the captured images glare-free with a patented Reflection Removal and displays the OVD markings in a separate image. The device's modular design allows 32 different configurations, options to be powered by USB or regular current, and OEM versions are also available.
